I love to see men dance. The community company, Dynion, which I set up 23 years ago blazed the way for the professional work produced today. I am proud that Dynion have been pioneers and barrier breakers to encourage males to express through dance and physical theatre. It’s a beautiful and powerful sight. The fruit of 2 decades of TAN’s male dance development, the new professional version of the highly successful Dynion Company, toured their production EXCESS around Wales during Autumn 2010.

EXCESS - Five testosterone fuelled men of greed and monstrous egos meet in a dog eat dog world. These city boys climb the competitive ladders of power in their quest for enormous wealth. Playing the global economy and living it large forces them to confront an inevitable outcome.

Into the future

TAN have applied for funds to set up DYNION as a separate entity.

If our application to Arts Council Wales is successful DYNION will have it's own constitution, board of management and patrons and will apply for production and touring money to get them back on the road in Spring 2012.
